MEET THE TEAM

Lauren Szot, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Owner
Lauren attained her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She has experience working in medical, educational, and outpatient settings with clients aging from birth - 90 years. Lauren has sought out extensive trainings and research in myofunctional therapy, and is passionate in helping families find root causes for speech, swallowing, and sleep disturbances. Lauren is the mother of two, and has traveled the therapy road with her own children for swallowing and myofunctional services. Lauren started Tall City Speech in 2017 with the desire to specialize treatment to fit the needs of both client and family.



Laura Tarwater, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Laura earned her bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from UT-Austin and her masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Christian University. Before moving to Midland, she worked at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX and has also worked in the public school setting. She has experience working with all ages of pediatrics targeting speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and augmentative communication implementation. She is most passionate about working with children who stutter and working with families to develop confident communicators.


Audrey Bagwell, M.S., CF-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Audrey earned her bachelor's degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science and her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She enjoys working with children of all ages and building relationships with her patients and their families. She has grown to especially love working with children with orofacial myofunctional disorders through her personal experience. Outside of work, Audrey enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her husband and puppy, and completing home renovation projects.
